I recently visited the beautiful hill station of Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh, and in Pachmarhi I stayed at the most beautiful and luxurious property of Pachmarhi, The Summer House, which is located away from the hustle and bustle of the market, in the quiet and beautiful area of Civil Lines.

We stayed their Deluxe Family Suite, which was a very big and comfortable room with separate living and bedroom areas, and a beautiful balcony with views of Pachmarhi Hill and the Satpuda Range.
As I was with my kids, the Summer House arranged for a a comfortable extra bed in the living area for my kids. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries were luxurious.
They also have other room options including a luxurious Presidential Suite.
Food
During my stay at the Summer House we were spoilt for food choices. The Summer House has two amazing restaurants. Breakfast was served at The Five restaurant and had an amazing spread of North Indian, south Indian, and Continental options everyday. In addition they had an amazing selection of Fresh Fruits, Cerels, Juice, Milk, Tea and Coffee. There was a live Dosa and Uttapam counter everyday.

The Summer House packs a delicious breakfast to take along on your Nature excursions as you will see in our experience later in this post.
For lunch we chose the option of Al Fresco dining in the beautiful outdoor dining space in their garden. The Summer House is the only place in Pachmarhi where you can get amazing Soups, Fresh Dough Pizzas, Pastas, and Sizzlers. Their dessert selection is also huge and we were again spoilt for choice!

We were served High Tea at the golden evening hour at their rooftop restaurant aptly named Pan Aroma. You get the best panoramic views of Pachmarhi Hill and the Satpura Range from their roof top restaurant while you savour your evening snacks and high tea.

Activities
The Summer House is the perfect place for kids as they have a string of activities to do. At their dedicated activitiy zone called “The Hub”, my kids loved playing Snooker, Carrom, Table Tennis and Jenga. You can see all the fun we had in the detailed video that I have made.
And their huge swimming pool was a crown on top. We spent hours in the pool as a family and made unforgettable memories.
They also have an excellent spa to unwind.
Our Unforgettable Nature Trek!
The Summer House also organizes amazing excursions, wildlife safaris and treks for the adventure and nature lovers. We opted for a guided easy trek with their in house naturalist.
It was the most unforgettable experience for us all. Their naturalist shared so many facts and showed my kids so many plants, flowers and fruits along the way.
My kids were amazed to see and experience how natural temporary tattoos can be made with leaves (see in my video), and how medicinal plants can be used to cure simple cough and colds.
The trek took us through deep forests and to a hidden waterfall where we had the time of our lives!

We had the entire waterfall to ourselves, and The Summer House had packed us a delicious breakfast for the trek which we enjoyed sitting right next to the waterfall.
