They have personally tried, tested and can vouch for the effectiveness of these face packs. We share these homemade face pack recipes with all of you to benefit from.

12 Homemade Face Packs for Glowing Skin

Wheat Flour Pack

For Glowing Skin:

Ingredients:

  • 3 spoons of wheat flour
  • 3 spoons of sugar
  • 10 betel,
  • small cup curd or milk.

Preparation: Grind the items specified well until it becomes thick paste. Keep a clean bowl in slow flame.Pour the grinded paste in the bowl. Pour small quantity of water in it. Stir it slowly in the low flame until it becomes thick. Switch Off the flame. Cool the mixture, apply to skin,leave for 15 mints and wash off. Bright skin is yours!!

Pomegranate Peel Pack

Cut the pomegranate peel into small pieces. Put them into a bowl containing milk and sugar. Heat the mixture in a low flame and cool it for sometime. Grind the mixture as thick paste. Apply to skin.You will see glowing results.Worth giving a try.

Besan Pack

One of my favourite beauty tip that I have received frm my ancestors.. and is being followed by almost every women of my house is “GRAM FLOUR PACK”… which we prepare by mixing gram flour or besan, a pinch of turmeric, some drops of lemon juice and curd. According to me,, this is one of the best beauty regime that keeps skin healthy as well as glowing.

Multani Mitti Pack

The best beauty tip which I follow on regular basis and which is quiet effective is the Multani Mitti (fuller’s earth) pack. I mix multani mitti with few drops of pure Rose water and Sandal wood powder. I leave it for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water. This has given me the best results. It removes my tan and any fatigue, pimples, acne scars leaving my skin fresh and rejuvenated.

Cucumber Honey Mask

1/2 Cucumber , 2 tbsp Honey or Aloe Vera

Peel and puree the cucumber and then add 1 spoon of honey or aloe vera.

Egg Face Mask

I use these remedy at home. Take one egg and one tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp honey. Now beat the egg and collect the egg white into a bowl. Add lemon juice and honey. Beat it well until the ingredients are mixed well. Apply this mask over clean & dry face. Leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash it with mild face wash and don’t forget to apply moisturizer.

Oatmeal Facial Mask

Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Egg White Mask for Removing Facial Hair

Ingredients:

  • Egg white- of 1 egg
  • Sugar- 1 tablespoon
  • Cornflour- ½ tablespoon.

Add sugar and cornflour with egg white. Beat till you get a smooth paste. Apply this egg mask to your face and let it dry. Once dried, it will become a thin mask; Pull it to remove unwanted facial hair.

Instant Radiance no fuss Milk Powder Face Mask

Take 2 tablespoons of milk powder add orange juice, honey to make a thick paste. Apply on your face and neck for 15 minutes and rinse. You will have supple and glowing skin in a jiffy.

Cooling Sandalwood Face Pack for Summer

1 tbsp sandalwood powder + picnch of turmeric + 1tsp rose water + 2tsp cucumber juice. A Cool mask for summer.

Oats and Banana Pack

My special beauty tip is a face pack which removes sun tan and also brings back the glow and softness of skin. Take 1 tablespoon oats finely powder and add only few drops of gulab jal, mashed banana and 2-3 drops of extra virgin olive oil and mix all well to make a smooth paste. If required add 1 spoon of milk just enough to make a smooth paste and leave it for about 5 minutes so that all the things gets mixed well. Apply on face for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Touch your facial skin and instantly feel the soft and smooth texture and the glow of skin. Note: Use this face pack once a week only!

Almond Pack

Make a paste of almonds and a little bit of milk and mix saffron in it. Apply on the face and keep it for 15 minutes and wash with cold water. Saffron gives instant glow while almond makes skin soft and glossy. I have been trying this since long and its working for me. Very happy with the results of this face pack.
