Crafty Chimp Tissue Art Kit – Review + Giveaway

Finally, a craft kit that younger ones can actually do on their own and achieve a sense of accomplishment! I am very happy to review my second creativity kit and give you a chance to win it for your child, in collaboration with Crafty Chimp. Tissue Art – My Rides by Crafty Chimp

My son has received a lot of craft sets on his birthdays and other occasions. But he was never able to create anything to his satisfaction without the help of an elder or his sister. As a result, I always found him cribbing about how he does not ‘win’ or he is not ‘good enough’. His efforts always end up being dulled by, although unintentionally, by those of his sister. Forever the younger brother, I am constantly thinking of ways to boost his self-confidence.

I was excited about all the creativity sets when Crafty Chimp sent them to me (check out the first review here), and so were the kids. But little did I know that one of these sets was going to give me a way to boost my child’s self-esteem. The project has been made so easy and fun that my son was able to do it on his own! I will let the pictures speak further and you will see just how fun it is to create ’tissue art’ with this kit.

The best part about this activity is that kids get to do what we always scold them for! Tearing paper and crushing it!

Activity Time!

Vehicle loving girls and boys will the ‘My Rides’ theme!

Each vehicle shaped cutout is a peel-off sticker. Very little ones might need an adult to peel off the sticker covering.

Now all that the kids need to do is tear pieces of tissue paper, crush, roll them and stick onto the sticker. No scissors and no glue required!

Younger kids might also need assistance with placing different colors in different places. 5 year olds will have no problem managing it on their own.

The tissue paper art kit is for kids aged 3 and up and has been made easy enough to little hands.

The triumphant smile after realizing that they have accomplished it on their own, is priceless!

No sooner were we done with the airplane that my son started with the boat too. Both done in no time, and accomplished very easily. I hear that the train engine is next!

This simple, easy-to-create craft is perfect for little hands and is completely mommy approved!
