Florals for Monsoon…Groundbreaking!

Meryl Streep’s cynical dialogue from ‘Devil Wears Prada’, “Florals….for Spring….Groundbreaking” is my absolute favorite! No, they may not be groundbreaking for spring and neither for the Indian monsoons, but they sure are the most romantic way to step out during a beautiful, wet and windy day. This vintage-inspired, romantic floral dress outfit is in collaboration with Stalk Buy Love and there are some more exciting outfits coming up soon.

So, on a very breezy monsoon day, I had the most wonderful time dressing up in dainty florals and coordinating accessories. With the kids back to school and the littlest one old enough to spend a few hours at Grandma’s, I enjoyed nothing short of bliss!

This flirty and feminine chiffon dress has a rose floral print tat I fell in love with. To add to it, the frilled neckline makes it even more romantic.

The faintest blushing peach color of the background with an overall print of rose sprays gives the dress a very vintage look. I was instantly transported into the pages of my favorite historic novels. And it also inspired us to play with a lot of filters to see the different effects the dress would create.

Accessorizing a Floral Dress Outfit

I teamed up the beautiful dress with Nine West heels, a multi-layered gold bracelet and deep red drop earrings. A perfect coincidence was the arrival of my FabBag a couple of days before. It contained my ‘Matte As Hell’ lip crayon from Sugar Cosmetics. The color was made to wear with this dress!

It was such a gorgeous breezy day that I could barely keep my hair in place. But that also made the lightweight dress flow in the wind! It made me happy as a child to see it. I could barely resist twirling it it!

The frilled neckline lends enough sensuality and drama to need anything else. I chose a simple cut-out rosette necklace for the neck.
