Bumtum Pants – Premium ‘Made in India’ Diapers
I had mixed feelings regarding using diaper pants made in India simply because I had not used any previously. When the package arrived, I had no idea what to expect. I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find the diapers at par with those I have been using – mainly Pampers Premium and Libero.
Bumtum pull-up pants are proudly made in India by Millennium Baby Care. Along with being happy with the product as a mom, I also felt strangely proud – as an Indian Mom! But packaging and the feel of the product are only one thing. I first needed to test if it worked as good as it felt.
Bumtum Pants Style Diaper Review
When put to test, Bumtum Diaper Pants came out with flying colors. Here are some observations for my Bumtum Pants Style Diaper Review:
Dryness/Absorbency – When it comes to keeping the baby dry and absorption capacity, these diapers are at par with the best diaper brand in India, i.e. Pampers Premium. I was able to use the diapers overnight and during prolonged outdoor visits without any complaints. I did not experience any bunching up.
Softness: This was the first thing that attracted me to Bumtum Pants. The diapers are wonderfully soft to the touch. There were no issues of diaper rash or discomfort to the baby at all.
Fit: Bumtum Diapers have an excellent fit. They comfortably sit around the baby’s thighs without causing any marks or moving from place. Absolutely no leaks.
Price: Probably the best about these diapers is that they pack everything that any top diaper brand would do – at a lesser price! The jumbo sized pack of 46 diapers is available for INR 399. That is a hundred bucks less than even Pampers Baby Dry which I have long before ditched and INR 150 less than my favorite Libero and Pampers Premium.
Final Thoughts
Based on the above results and in comparison with my other diaper reviews, I can see no reason why not to switch diaper brands! Bumtum is an excellent choice for pant style baby diapers, is Made in India, is at par with the best diaper brands available in India and costs much less than them. These are the reasons moms switched to Himalaya and I can see them moving to Bumtum. I am certainly going to look for Bumtum diapers when shopping for next month’s diapers!

Glad to know of a new diaper brand coz I use Libero & heard its pulling out India operations. Cant find them anywhere now. When customers are increasing then the quality of product is decreasing. Same bumtum diaper also doing. Last time I bought this diaper from flipkart and the quality is very bad. Before the quality of diaper was good. that’s why again I ordered. But this time there is no thickness nothing. And once baby passing urine or passing stool it leakeging and even colour of stool is getting to outside of diaper too.
