Palmer’s Baby Wash Review

March 31, 2017 by Lata 5 Comments

Palmer’s is America’s loved and trusted brand for skin care and baby products. I use Palmer’s products with confidence and was happy to find their Baby Wash in India. After using it throughout the winter, here is my Palmer’s Baby Wash Review – everything I loved, and did not love about it.

Palmer's Baby Wash Review

Palmer’s Baby Wash is made with their signature cocoa butter formula.

Palmer’s Baby Wash Review

Like most other baby body washes in India, Palmer’s Baby Wash is also thick. But the similarity ends there. Palmer’s has come up with a wonderful product for babies. Here are some things that I loved about this one:

  1. Has cocoa butter, shea butter and Vitamin E!
  2. Tear free formula
  3. Cleans both hair and body
  4. Hypoallergenic
  5. Paraben Free
  6. Phthalate Free
  7. Even the 250 ml bottle has a dispenser cap (I love the ease of a dispenser. Johnson’s only uses dispenser for 500 ml bottles)
  8. Smells pleasantly of cocoa butter
  9. Moisturizes baby skin and is perfect for dry winters
  10. Gel like consistency, not soapy or creamy.
  11. PLENTY of lather! Other baby washes don’t lather much. But a little portion of Palmer’s creates a generous amount of lather on a wet scrub and is enough for the entire bath. This is unlike other gel-like baby washes like Johnsons.

What I Did Not Like

Nothing really, except the price. It is practically double that of Johnson’s. But I don’t want to fight that. The product is made in the USA and it would, of course, cost more in other countries.

If you do not like the cocoa butter smell, you might find it awkward. But trust me, that is only because we have been used to smelling artificial fragrances in every single bath and body product. This is the real thing and the good thing.

Great for Moms too!

Moms will love to use it as a face wash! I have dry skin and the ‘Cocoa Butter Formula’ written in huge letters on the formula tempts me…lol! I love to squeeze out a little now and then and apply it on my face and neck. Skin feels and smells lovely!

Final Thoughts

The baby wash is unquestionably good. It is undoubtedly the best baby wash in India after Aveeno. It keeps the baby’s skin soft and nourished and works wonders even in winters. It is something every household can use – baby, kids, mom and even dad! My family loves it.

Try it yourself and do leave your reviews here 🙂

So my Search Ends Here …..
After your read about Palmer’s Baby Wash, I am quite sure that my search for perfect baby wash comes to an end here as it’s having all those qualities which I was looking for in a Single bottle.

It’s high content of moisturisation level specially for dry season, presence of cocoa & shea butter, chemicals-free Gel consistency and plenty of lather forming capacity sounds beyond excellence. Equally good results for Hair as well as Body wash again offers Moms to be hassle-free.
If talked about price, “great things do come with a price” and moreover we Moms are always ready to shell out that extra penny for our loving kids provided they are worth it and here

    yessss ….. it’s worth it ☺
