Sharing another floral outfit today. Looks like I cannot get enough of my florals this monsoon! I styled a chiffon, kaftan top with jeggings for a casual look for a parenting workshop. Here’s my look 🙂
Putting Together an Outfit
It might seem to you like a waste of time, but I always put together an outfit by mixing and matching things beforehand. It actually saves time and gives you a clearer view of the look you have in mind. Of course, if something does not look as you thought it would, you can always make changes after looking in the mirror.
Black Floral Kaftan Top
Kaftan tops are Godsends for moms post delivery. I am not exactly a new mom (it’s been more than a year and I really shouldn’t be making any excuses) but still struggling to find that pre-pregnancy shape. I am not averse to tummy shapers, but kaftan tops, with their flowing and forgiving silhouette, are very welcome!
Accessorizing
I accessorized my floral kaftan top and jeggings with a long pendant necklace, beaded drop earrings, a black watch and black heels. A red sling bag with cutout details completed my look.
