Personalized Gifts for Kids and Grown Ups – The Pipal Review

September 8, 2017 by Lata 1 Comment

Are you planning to gift your kids a personalized bag? Look no further than my favorite website – The Pipal. I have ordered all kinds of personalized gifts from them over the last 6 years or so. Bags, pillows, bedding, towels, mugs – they have got you covered. Check out some of my favorite goodies from their store in my The Pipal review today 🙂

I remember my first order with The Pipal. It was my son’s first Christmas! My daughter was already 5 and I wanted to gift both of them something unique. I had seen personalized, quilted Stephen Joseph bags being sold in the US but wasn’t sure if I would find something of that quality closer home. You can imagine my joy on stumbling upon The Pipal! I ordered my first set of personalized, quilted backpacks from their store.

The Pipal Quilted Backpack

The Kid sized bags can be useful for a very long time. My 12 year old has been using it since she was 5!

My daughter is 12 now and still carries her bag around! She also loves her new ‘grown up’ book bag 🙂

She is past the age of ‘pink’ (It’s a phase I know! It will pass …at least I hope…lol!) and flowers and adores this ‘big girl’ bag. She is crazy about dreamcatcher motifs and loves inspirational quotes. I also love that the personalization here is a more grown up initial instead of her name 🙂

The only reason my son doesn’t carry his bag anymore is because it was a baby sized bag and doesn’t fit any of his stuff now. He took it everywhere from Nursery to Grandma’s house and on travels.

The Pipal Quilted Toddler Backpack is perfect for ages 1 to 4!

He is happy showing off his new drawstring bag from The Pipal now. But his airplane bag is still intact after all the roughing up and that is how good the quality of their products is!

After receiving numerous compliments and jealous stares at my kids’ backpacks, I decided to gift them to close friends. The first birthday of a special friend’s child or my kids’ first Raksha Bandhan with their cousin were important events. A cute fabric backpack embroidered with the child’s name made for a memorable gift. I knew how well the gifts were received when I saw the birthday girl carrying the backpack on her 3rd birthday too! I have no doubt kids (and their doting parents) love these bags as much as my kids have loved them. Even now, when there is a special event coming up and I am looking for gift ideas for kids, I turn to The Pipal to buy a gift that will make memories forever.

Just like Mommy!

My third baby was a born fashionista who loved bags, shoes and such! Of course, she had to have her own personalized bag like her siblings. She got her set of bags on her first Raksha Bandhan and is still in love with them. When the super creative guys at The Pipal sent in some gifts recently, they included a cute little pouch for her as well!

She sat down to stuff her hair clip collection inside her new pouch 🙂

Sharing a secret – I am big time ‘pouch’ person. I use them to organize everything! Small toys, hair accessories, travel accessories etc.

Anything ‘3’ has to resemble my kids! So the three monkeys on the pouch are my kids – according to my kids 🙂

Not Just Bags

My other fond memory about The Pipal is after I had my third baby. Christmas is HUGE in my non-Christian house and my older two had a matching set of stockings. I had got them made from the US. With their little sister come to their lives, it was time to get a new set of matching stockings to hang on our fireplace. There was no US trip in sight and Fedex is expensive as I am sure you know. I am sorry to admit, but I do not always trust regular post when shopping online from other countries.

To my delight, The Pipal was offering the same, high quality Christmas stockings in India! In fact, the quality of their stockings was even better than the ones we had. So my three musketeers had matching Christmas stockings after all!

And they have gift ideas for grown ups too! I love their elegant towels and quirky Mr and Mrs pillows. But what I loved most was their thoughtful gesture of sending this super personalized mug for me!

Fab ‘You’ Lous – That’s me! Thanks guys for this lovely gift 🙂

Of course, it is personalized with my initial!

Pink and dull gold – my favorite combination too! Wonder how they figured out 🙂

What I Love about The Pipal

I have been shopping at The Pipal much before everything and anything was available ‘personalized’. These days, we have custom printing companies who will print your name on everything from a pen to a T-shirt. But I still trust The Pipal for my shopping needs because their stuff is clearly upscale and very high quality. Their quality of stitching, quilting and embroidery is simply unbeatable! If a bag is in top notch condition for 7 years, what more do I say about their quality! When you want nothing but the best for your kids, just remember that I totally recommend The Pipal from my personal shopping experiences 🙂
