2 Mommy Travel Fashion Essentials for Traveling with Kids

I am raring to go again! But before I board the plane with my little merrymakers, I needed some chic and comfortable fashion essentials. Here are 2 mommy travel fashion essentials I bought recently for my oncoming travel to Mumbai with kids.

Converse All Star Shoes

The legendary ‘Converse’. Everyone needs to have these, mommy or not. Especially since sneakers are having their day on the fashion scene. Actually, these are the one pair of shoes moms and kids both are wild after. I would so love to buy my kids a pair each, but I am still not seeing the Kids sizes being sold in India. Well, I will keep looking!

Converses, Chucks, All Stars – these famous shoes are known by many names. The classic sneakers were made popular by Basketball player Chuck Taylor and still bear his name (Hence, the CT). Today, they are on the runway and can be paired with almost anything from dresses to jeans.

I love my Reebok sports shoes very much and swear by them on travels. But they do not go with all my outfits! With sneakers being the next big thing in fashion today, I needed a pair before we set off.

I need to be sporty and active managing the kids all around the happening city all day, but that is no excuse to look shabby! Thankfully, a pair of Converses can make you look sharp without making you give up your comfort.

After walking around in comfort, the next issue to be addressed when traveling with kids is how to lug around all their ‘stuff’. You know the reason I love road trips so much? I love to have my car at my disposal to carry all my stuff with me. Since I won’t be having my car, I need to be prepared to carry a lot of stuff (hats, sunglasses, diapers, change of clothes, water bottles, bananas, biscuits, candies…you know how that list goes!).
