Baby Boy Birth Announcement Tips For New Moms

January 4, 2021 by Lata 2 Comments

Congratulations! You’re pregnant!

Your pregnancy announcement is such an amazing and unique time. The tips that we’ve curated for you will give you the perfect inspiration to share your great news.

Once the initial excitement and enthusiasm wear off, one of the greatest parts about being pregnant is getting to give the news to your loved ones.

But what’s the best method to inform your family and friends?

Since there are several baby birth announcement ideas out there, we wanted to gather only the best and most creative tips for your ease.

When Is The Right Time To Announce Your Pregnancy On Social Media?

For most people, the rule of thumb is to wait until the 12-week mark to share anything on social media. But really, it’s up to you.

Some moms can share early if they want extra support from their friends and colleagues. And others would want their pregnancy carried out privately for the most part.

Just don’t forget to tell your most important loved ones in person. It’s better than them finding out about your pregnancy from Facebook or Instagram.

Keep the announcement authentic to you and your personality. Whether it results in a simple announcement or a creative big one. You can also use cute graphics like baby bottle clipart or a stork perhaps!

When to Send Your Birth Announcement

As expected, life can be really restless and busy after the birth of a new baby. Nobody will presume that you will send the baby announcement cards immediately. Sending of birth announcements can be carried out within the first 6 months after birth. It’s okay if you’re pressed for time. No one will judge you for that.

What to Include in Your Announcement

An announcement should basically carry all of the following points. But it is up to you to filter out or add as much as you like.

Introduction

Birth Announcements should carry a simplistic introduction such as “Welcome”, “Hello Baby”, “Hello World”, or “We introduce to you”. Choose any style that showcases your family personality.

For baby boy birth announcements, you can pick out masculine colors and customize your texts.

You can use the following if you wish to:

“Oh Boy!” Our son has arrived, please welcome…”

“Introducing our tiny man…”

“He’s Here! Our beloved son has completed our family…”

Family

Include any direct family member names such as the Happy Parents or Big Sister/Brother

Birth Information

Include the baby’s birth date and time of birth. You can share the weight and size of the baby as well.

Photo

If you wish you can share a photo. Either one you’ve taken at home or from your professional newborn photo shoot. Everyone will be expecting and excited to see a photo of your baby. The baby announcement card produces a memorable photo keepsake that family and friends will treasure for years to come.

Baby Announcements Using Ultrasound Photos

Using ultrasound photos is seemingly one of the most popular ways to announce your pregnancy. Those photos are so personal and special and sharing them makes a thoughtful and heartwarming way to announce the baby’s arrival.
