Cheese Garlic Yippee Noodles Recipe – Kids Recipes Indian

May 27, 2020 by Lata 2 Comments

Maggi and Yippee are the two most popular instant noodles available in the Indian market. Cheese Maggi has even become a favorite street food now and is on the menus of most fast-food restaurants. Yippee and Maggi both have distinct tastes. The milder Yippee is more suited for younger kids who don’t like their noodles too hot or spicy.

In a way similar to Cheese Maggi, I make Cheese Yippee. Depending upon how much spice your kids like, you can adjust the amount of the seasoning sachets provided with the noodles.
Here is my recipe for Cheese Garlic Yippee noodles that my children love as an evening snack.

Cheese Garlic Yippee Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Amul butter
4-5 cloves garlic
1 medium sized onion
4 processed cheese cubes
3 packets yippee noodles

Directions:
Heat butter in a pan or kadhai and add chopped garlic. Cook for a minute (without letting the garlic turn brown), then add finely chopped onion. Cook on medium flame till translucent taking care that the onions don’t brown.
Add water as required for 3 packets of noodles. When water starts boiling, grate 3 and 1/2 cubes of cheese directly into the water. Add 2 sachets of seasoning that comes with the noodles. You can add all 3. My kids don’t like it too spicy so I used only two.
Add the noodles and cook till water evaporates and the noodles are ready. Serve in bowls and garnish by grating the remaining 1/2 cheese cubes on top.
