Last week, I flew to Mumbai to attend the mega launch event of the New Johnson’s Baby. Yes, Johnson’s Baby products have been re-launched with a new formulation and addressing most of the concerns that parents have had, in recent years. Here are a whole lot of pics and a vlog from my visit that will make you feel as if you were with me on this trip!
From the Airport to The ITC Grand Maratha
My pickup from the Airport began with a special welcome placard :). From there, we were transferred to the ITC Grand Maratha Hotel near the airport.
There was a pre-event dinner arranged with a lot of fun and games. I am moving on to the next day, that is the day of the main launch event.
New Johnson’s Baby Products Launch
First (of course!!) we had to have our fill of posing at the pretty photo booths set up outside the conference hall.
Once inside, the beautiful ballroom of the ITC Grand Maratha was decorated in Pinks, Blues and Teals – all pretty pastels.
I loved the traditional Indian beginning – with ‘Vakratunda Mahakaya’ playing..
and the traditional lighting of the lamp.
We were shown an impressive presentation of the new launch. My pics and even videos (Check my IGTV) don’t do justice to it.
And finally the new bottles were unveiled by the Johnson’s team members from India, Asia as well the Global team.

We learned about the science behind the new products and how they were gentler and milder.

And then the products were brought to each table, so we could see and experience them.
As we came to know in the presentation before, the new products are now at par with the best in the industry and in-keeping with the modern needs. They are now free of:

We tried, smelled, applied the new products to know the texture and feel of each.
During lunch break, we got ourselves clicked with the new products. Of course, clocking pics comes before food lol!

There were some fun games and activities planned. In a fun way, we conducted simple tests to help us see for ourselves the quality and effectiveness of Johnson’s baby products.
Followed by the games and activities for a very open Q&A session. Members of Indian and International Johnson’s team took to the stage and answered each and every question, concern and doubt we had about their products.
I loved this about Johnson’s. They do not shy away from any question. They encouraged us to ask the most difficult questions and then addressed each concern. They have 125 years of experience in making baby products and are passionate about their work. Using verified scientific facts, they explained away each concern of moms.
It was a wonderful experience indeed and I loved that Johnson’s chose to share this very special event with Moms, as opposed to media personnel or their business contacts. It was a lovely gesture and the Johnson’s team made sure that all the moms who had traveled, leaving their kids behind, were completely pampered.
I am back with a whole lot of lovely memories of the event and of meeting other Social Media Mommies. And now it’s time to put the new Johnson’s baby products to test. Stay tuned for the review!
